the situation is very obvious Ben.
I was always curious why sometimes I would sell a 1930s or 1940s poster for a dollar or two until I noticed that Bruce was also selling similar types at the same price level. There just isn't anyone to buy alot of this material anymore because they don't know what it is.

how many Deana Durbin or Ritz Bros collectors are there today?
even some great stars like Clark gable are known for just a small selection of films they made (or in Gables case, maybe just two GWTW & IHON) Bette Davis used to be big, now her material is shot except for some specific titles

but it is understandable.. how many of you have ever sen or know what I'm talking about when I reference "Dime novels"?

while Mark Twain was a must read in my generation, I wonder how many schoolkids real Tom Sawyer now and even more, how many even have any point of reference to Tom Swift & living in his time?

Bruce and others

I would be keen to hear more thoughts about what Rich had to say concerning older original vintage posters from the 1930’s – 1940’s posters – USA Hollywood mainstream titles losing market share because the buying public is ceasing to exist literally due to age.
