Hi, that's definitely true for pre 1950s movies , and it's quite logical ,  
collectors come in generations , and generations do disapear , some genres are 
above that like sci-fi and horror but in general people collect  because  it's 
something that counts for them , often what they grew up with ...  which is why 
i'm very surprised to see Rich considering movie posters buyers to be investors

I would be keen  to hear more thoughts
about what Rich had to say concerning older original vintage posters from the
1930’s – 1940’s posters – USA Hollywood mainstream titles
losing market share because the buying public is ceasing to exist literally due
to age.
