I loved Rosza, so when we did a film music “spectacular” at the public radio station I worked at in the mid-seventies, I did an interview with him, arranged by a friend Tom DeMary. Somehow Criterion found out about this, and used part of the interview, which Tom fortunately had a copy of, in their release of THE THIEF OF BAGHDAD. But only a small part of it. I have the whole thing and I should present it somehow. In the Criterion, you don’t hear much of me. They (mercifully!) edited me out largely.
