Pretty unbelievable, especially considering the amount of copies out there!! Of course, this example was supposedly the highest grade.
I'm sure this price will now also raise the value of all the lower grade examples. I sometimes think it would have been a much smarter move collecting and investing in comic books over the last 51+ years than movie posters. Rare comics are much easier to find than rare movie posters and they're a lot easier to sell. The problem is, I never liked them nearly as much. But there's a huge difference in the amount of collectors of comic books compared to movie posters.
