It happened, but not here. The woman being stalked left the forum and joined a different one. When the stalker tried to follow, he was told forcefully he was not wanted. Several of us protested to the forum owner, but did not receive any support. Some quit and went elsewhere. I have stayed, but my postings are down to almost none. Obviously there is more to the story, but frankly it is best to move on. Since the issue happened well over a year ago, and has nothing to do with posters, it is best to let it die out. I have absolutely no idea why anyone feels it is relevant here or why they should unsubscribe over an old dead issue elsewhere. Methinks there is another reason not being said. Anyway, back to posters. Please? Jay Nemeth-Johannes -- On 7/1/17, 7:23 AM, "Charles Stevens" <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Filip, Thanks for pointing this out to me. I have no doubt Kirby is a great gentleman and I apologize to Kirby if people thought I was suggesting that he was not. His playful e-mail was first up and that is the only reason it was in response to him. I have no doubt that he would aid the damsel in distress. I also apologize to the rest of MOPO for what is now obvious to me - that you guys have no idea what my e-mails are referring to. I was under the impression that there had been a couple of discussions on this subject already. As far as throwing it out in the open, to divulge all the details would be irresponsible since, as I said in my first e-mail, that it is only an "alleged" incident. Essentially (as could have been predicted) now a "he said - she said" situation from some back and forth this past evening. I am just aware of how someone was made to feel - after that, arguing the details is irrelevant IMO. Maybe the take-away from this saga is to just keep an eye out and be vigilant. Similar to exactly what you, Filip, have done here. Take up for your fellow collector when necessary and make them feel welcome and supported versus allowing fear and intimidation to creep in. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable - I think we would agree that there is no place for that in our hobby.
