I would rather give anal birth to a live porcupine than watch "Chicago" again. My wife and I watched it with high hopes (all those Oscars!). We made it through the first half-hour. I turned to my wife and said "Is it just me or does this movie suck like an Electrolux?"
We tried again the next day. This time we turned it off after 15 minutes. I can't give you a quantifiable reason WHY we disliked the film so violently but it just repulsed me on a cellular level. We watched a couple of episodes of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" to cleanse our mental palate.
But Kirby: my heart REALLY goes out to you. A Sam Katzman-produced Elvis movie with an ugly blind date? You should sue MGM for the years of therapy bills.

I'm sick of superheroes. Too many, too much! Can't we just get an actual hero or heroine or a heroic non-binary type? Please. However, I never want to see HAREM SCARUM ever again. I had a blind date with a plain girl, had to drive 20 miles to see this drivel, and then the movie was moronic. I was trapped! I would rather watch THE SOUND OF MUSIC run backwards three times than to ever have to see HAREM SCARUM again. So don't ask me to. I mean, I love Elvis, but NO.
