Dear Mopes -

My personal worst movie that I would have to be bound and gagged to watch again
was INGA. It was a 1968, Swedish, adult semi-art film. I actually went into the
theater to see Hells Angels On Wheels and for some terrible reason they
mis-billed the attraction out front of the theater. That was going to movies in
North Carolina in the 1960’s for you. So, I’m sitting there watching what I
thought was the trailer for Inga before my biker movie and this interminably
slow Inga “trailer" kept going on and on and on for a good 10 minutes before I
realized I was trapped in some kind of teaser-time loop. I went and got my
money back when I finally realized Inga was the picture being shown. They told
me Hells Angels was starting next week. I can’t remember the exact details -
but I went back the next week to see that biker film with the assurance that it
was indeed the movie being shown, and they did it again to me, again! When I
saw Inga come up on the screen I started squirming at the “trailer” when I
realized it was the whole movie foisted on me one more time! Therefore, I have
the dubious and traumatizing honor of having walked out on the same picture -
Twice. Needless to say, I’ve become very careful what I pay to see these days -
while praying I never have to see Inga, again!
