Hi Marsha Are there not events that are not static, or not, at least, fully static?
e.g. when you meet someone new there is a non-static and emergent/un-anticipatible aspect. Or when you invade Iraq it is not just going to play out in a static and controllable way. Static pattern does imply repeating, no repeat, no pattern to re-cognise. Yes, it is all relational, both static and dynamic. Is not the Otherness of people due to them being a source of dynamic quality, whereas machines have only static qualities?
