I don't know if it has worked off and on, thus,
sometimes yes, sometimes no. I know somebody that has
asked such questions, and everybody in administration
said they didn't know. This fellow that asked the
question concluded they didn't know due to it wasn't
working. I don't know if other 'things' influenced
his conclusion or what. I do know that this summer,
before school started this past Wednesday, some
residents left. Many of them relapsed, but some
didn't, therefore more relapsed than not relapsing.
Yet, that was this last bunch of residents during a
time at the facility where the facility was going
through a very major breakdown in its' system of
operation. Yet, I know of one resident who has come
back, due to relapsing, but she choose this place
because she liked it from before and felt it helped
her tremendously. Yet, staff that were around when
she was around, and are still working at the facility
say when she was last at the facility it was a better
working, helping facility. They say this, but she's
back. So even a better working facility was part of a
resident relapsing. The resident says it definitely
has changed, and she says for the worst. Sorry I
can't provide anymore answers. It is a very good
question. It is supposed to be not just a
baby-sitters facility where we are keeping them from
the inevitable trouble that they will somebody make or
be involved with. The facility has a goal, but I know
it didn't work with the last round of residents that
left.
