Gav, this is new evidence, right? We might be
familiar with the Homo sapiens journey. Out of Africa
theory (some hold out for Homo sapiens came from a
many branched 'tree trunk' from Homo erectus that had
already migrated Out of Africa and then Homo sapiens
came from Homo erectus 'spontaneously' at different
locations in the world) is says that Homo sapiens came
Out of Africa through the Middle East, India, and
eventually branched off into different migrations
paths that go to Australia, Eastern Asia, into Europe,
and eventually the Americas (in that order). The Out
of Africa theory goes along with a popular notion
called 'Mitochondrial Eve', which traces the
Mitochondrial DNA to a common mother/female. This
work has been going on for some time now.
Mitochondrial DNA has been studied from Australian
aborigines in these studies, and now, gav, your saying
a NEW study differs. I would like to see your source.

How do you conclude this? Unless your saying
Homo sapiens were here, and then all Homo sapiens
became extinct, and then Homo sapiens were able to
come back again. Through an extinction where a
population of Homo sapiens survives their DNA survives
and thus the are the connecting small population back
to when there were more of them, and now there are 6
billion of us. Not sure what your saying here. By
the way, I've tried to converse with you recently and
you seem to think I'm mad at you and you don't answer.
When I'm mad, sarcastic, or very sad about something,
don't read between the lines for I come out and type
it. I'm very upfront about where my emotions are
going with a discussion. Right now, I'm just curious.

gav, mDNA only follows the matriarchal lineage,
not the entire species.

This is very new territory if true. I'm waiting
for the source.
thanks, gav,
SA
