Dwai,
While I have not yet finished the book, I do think it
interesting. It does put the Tao in some kind of understandable
context. My complaint would be that it is written for men, and the
women appear as fools. At this point, I think ZMM and LILA are far
better books. And RMP's statement, from Lila, far more direct and
obvious advice to follow:
"While sustaining biological and social patterns
Kill all intellectual patterns.
Kill them completely
And then follow Dynamic Quality
And morality will be served."
(LILA, Chapter 32)
Maybe this is an unfair and premature response. Having studied and
practiced some Hatha yoga and pranayama techniques, I am interested
in the Tao explanation of the energy flow. But I must confess, I am
a bit disappointed.
