Ron,

That gender is a division more INSIDIOUS than subject/object is 
something I think worth exploring.  I see no contradiction.  Maybe 
insidious because it reflects a biological difference that has warped 
into some pretty hideous social and intellectual patterns.  Surely 
you notice the difference between a tiger and an elephant.  I'm 
addressing static patterns.  I suggest that the world's wisdom is 
lopsided, and wonder if there isn't a way to consider a more balanced 
approach.
