the point I was trying to make, is how Man, being unable to bring religion with modernity, devises all sort of schemes to adhere to the letter of the law, without having to admit that they are bringing religion to modernity. In some countries, fasting Ramadan during the summer months can be quiet an ordeal. The solution? put the whole country on the night shift. this way you are working, eating and drinking from sunset to sunrise, then you go to sleep during the day when you are supposed to be fasting. The question is, what if have to legitimately have to work a night shift. When do you fast?
