Sounds like a line from Bob Dylan ;-) I don't completely agree, I think it 
possible to "prove" what Pirsig meaning was with the MOQ, or at least 
what conclusions his examples inevitably leads to. If these are right 
however...?

Yes, kill all intellectual patterns, meaning make intellect and its 
subject/object split a mere static value.That's exactly what the issue is. 
As long as intellect is kept as some holy grail that can be filled with 
SOM and topped off with the MOQ the latter is a lead balloon.
