SA: Pertaining to thoughts are their own creatures,
and you mention here that "humans manipulate sensory
data", but I'm trying to point out a concept similar
to "we are products of our society". Instead of
saying it this way, couldn't we say, 'we are products
of the thoughts we come into contact with'? The kind
of thoughts we are in contact with isn't always in our
control, and for society at large much is dictated by
the thoughts being circulated. So, how we deal with
thoughts circulated towards you, me, anybody, these
thoughts collide with what we already know, but can we
avoid the thoughts 'thrown' at us? Do you see what
I'm getting at?

Ron:
Yes, I do. I think most people dismiss those thoughts
Given a quick scan, if they are open they will give
What they can a good look but most often the majority
of those thoughts are chalked up as items already known
and ignored. This is another area where information
slips past us or gets exaggerated due to past experiences.
Influencing what data we focus on to support our beliefs.
