SA: I understand what your saying here, but I still believe what I'm referring to is different. It is what Ian mentioned as "memes", I believe. I don't think I'm moving outside of the scope of what meme's are. How well they fit into the moq I would answer well for how I understand the intellectual and social level. On the intellectual level, I see 'thoughts as creatures on their own', more and more. The internet, for one, is moving into a collection of thoughts that one human can't stop. Books are a form of 'thoughts on their own' due to they inhabit space-time without human need. Yet, in all of these examples, the freedom of thought is limited by human support. Books and internet would not last without social and biological support (inorganic of course). 'Thoughts on their own' can endure much longer in current times due to thoughts do not necessarily die very quickly, as soon as a human or many humans die. Thoughts have moved closer to a life on their own, that it is conceivable that thoughts may exist from an alien or another animal may evolve to have thoughts, but these conceivabilites are more imaginative. Yet, books, CD's, drawings in cave's, and with the internet another notch has been raised in how thoughts are on their own. For one, how can a biological, social human being, with all their thoughts, destroy the thoughts contained in the internet? The thoughts in the internet show an expansion of freedom in thoughts living on their own. What do you think? Ron: I think those things you speak of are artificial Extensions of memory. I don't know SA, I'm leaving myself Open. ________________________________________________________________________ ____________ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
