DM, SA, no time for a complete response at the mo, but ...

I can see a narrow view of "nature" as what exists in nature, might
exclude futures, but I can't imaging anyone really holding such a view
.... which is why I said it seemed to be some extreme caricature of
naturalism that was being discussed.

Time (and causation), we keep noting is pretty weird, but we need a
"natural" view of it - that covers pasts and futures. A naturalism
without it would be incomplete, no ?

The possible and the conveivable are also much more closely linked
than I had previously thought - I need to dig out some (David Deutsch
/ David Chalmers) references to that idea.
