DM: For me we need to talk about potentia less because any given situation must have a history unless it is the moment after the beginning of time, then because we need this concept to be able to talk about and make sense of change. Change is not certain and is open to different posiibilities, hence we need to grasp this with some concept and recognise the limited but not chaotic nature of such potential change.
