yes i must admit i am a big bill murray fan too. *broken* flowers by jim jarmusch i think dave. i liked that film a lot - i like the way bill's character goes from an inability to feel/care about anyone to being emotionally connected to a young hitchhiker that is a total stranger.
bill also gets a cameo in wes anderson's 'the darjeeling limited'; the film starts with bill rushing to the train station, as you think 'oh another wes anderson film with bill murray starring', then he misses the train and that's it - he is outa the flick, barring one weird insertion later on. bill was beautiful in lost in translation especially i think. did he get an award for that? he deserved one. humour has depths man...which brings me to another topic close to my heart - the tragicomic: you could say that the tragicomic is the genre of human existence....more later i imagine (inbetween olympic events). --- On Mon, 18/8/08, david buchanan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From: david buchanan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [MD] What is SOM? > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Received: Monday, 18 August, 2008, 1:32 AM > Marsha said: > The man who, for me at the moment, shimmers through all > four levels in beauty and elegance is Bill Murray.
