Hi Gav and Marsha...
Gav - you might remember the book called 'Magical Tarot Mystical Tao' that I
purchased in Berkeley? Still use it quite a bit and I highly recommend it to
anyone interested in either. It gives a correllation between each card in
the deck and one of the verses of the Tao Te Ching plus an added description
using traditional Tarot interpretations and bits from other religions as
well. The book is based on the Rider-Waite deck but the Tao doesn't play
favourites...
Rebecca
Margaret,
Sounds like an interesting book. My favorite deck is the Nigel
Jackson Tarot. Each card is a beautiful work of art. I don't read
the cards, because I don't have problems anymore. If I get
agitated, it's an ego problem. That's simple. Life's pretty easy
since I retreated to my cave. I don't have many complicated
responsibilities. And I do have lots of time to watch the trees
move, and listen to the birds sing and chirp. (SA thinks he's the
only one experiencing Nature. He's not.) Following the moon is a
special fascination of mine. I'm not looking for prince charming,
I'm sleepily waiting for Siegfried. So what are the cards going to tell me?
Dull, huh?
Marsha
