Ron: I guess this is where we differ in approach, this stuff matters to me. I care about it or I wouldn't waste my time. Marsha Gee, and I thought this was a forum to explore and discuss the MOQ in all its many aspects. [Krimel] We do not play at things that are unimportant to us. We play out of joy. We play for excitement. Play is not frivolous or without effort. It is not trivial. I suspect the only reason some of us work is that no one will pay us to play. Some of us work so that we can have time or money to play. Some of us play this particular game at work... Play allows us to experiment, to challenge what must usually be taken as a given. But here we are in virtual reality without any graphics chatting in courier. I suppose using 15 year old listserv technology to communicate provides the illusion of seriousness. But I mean really. "In play, a child is always above his average age, above his daily behavior; in play, it is as though he were a head taller than himself." - Lev Vygotsky Moq_Discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
