Margaret!

I liked your post.

This:
there is DQ BECAUSE we have SQ...or vice versa.

is excactly what I mean.

i.e. there has to be some static pattern before something dynamic can occur
to change it and vice versa.

But, DQ is not some force that swoops in and changes things around. it is always there, constant, and it is the movement of the SQ patterns that decides if they can perceive it, and how much of it they can perceive.

and both events/patterns are still a duality that our minds have defined

deciding an event or pattern is good or bad is also our choice of how to
describe whatever our perception of the pattern is...just like everyone here
bickering over identities for the past few days -

some people might perceive an event as DQ and some might see it as Static
(from some previous pattern they recognize) - and then, some might see that
event as good and some might see it as bad.

I think that events/patterns are neither good/bad (all can be described as
positive or negative or both) AND all events can be both DQ and SQ
simultaneously.

we resonate with other entities who share similar perceptions and learn a
lot from those entities who have differing perceptions

Yes, I agree I think. And I would add, that the Good that is pure Quality/dynamic quality is what keeps the static patterns going, because everything moves toward what they thing quality is, that is from their static and flawed point of view. so when they see another aspect of Good, well, then that's dynamic indeed, but the Good was always there, infinitely greater in its whole than they can know/understand/perceive.

I think. This way we don't make Plato's mistake.
