OK, so as I said online (AND offline). We agree "identity" is important, (because trust is important ?), but VERY important. We haven't agreed what is important about it, except that clearly "names" are a relatively unimportant part of it.
(Some) people are confusing identity (patterns) with names (symbolic identifiers) IMHO. Try this - How do you get a "handle" on the "value" of what someone is saying ? Discuss. (A very common problem everywhere BTW. Chill folks.)
