And I asked what this was, but have not heard an answer yet - from anybody,
including you Arlo. Do you know?

I think its impossible to predict where a revolution will lead, often times you
don't even know you're IN a revolution until the fallout afterwards. All I can
say is that Pirsig identified the early Hippie movement as being a moral
revolution, so I'd say if we are going to dust off anything, a good option
would be to go back to the early Hippie movement and see what it was they were
trying to accomplish. Certainly, as Pirsig points out, it was a revolution
against both society and intellectuality.

According to Wikipedia, "Hippies sought to free themselves from societal
restrictions, choose their own way, and find new meaning in life. One
expression of hippie independence from societal norms was found in their
standard of dress and grooming, which made hippies instantly recognizable to
one another, and served as a visual symbol of their respect for individual
rights. Through their appearance, hippies declared their willingness to
question authority, and distanced themselves from the "straight" and "square"
(i.e., conformist) segments of society."

They were pacifists, community-minded while being open and embracing of others,
environmentally aware, often vegan, anti-consumerist and anti-materialist,
artisans, used substances like peyote to free the mind (as did Pirsig),
embraced esoterica over exoteric structures, egalitarian without being
authoritarian, etc. (This is just a quick list).

But understand, we can't just go back and "do" Hippiedom again. We need
something new. Its to the basic direction of the early hippies I look, but its
forward movement we need, not retrogression (whether it be to 1890 or 1960).
"Only birth can conquer death, and not birth of the old-thing again, but of
something new." (Campbell)
