Woods says:

I think what was significant in what Platt posted below is not the
"dreaming"
aspect. Dream all you want. It's the "coercion" part that we need to
be concerned about. That's what's dangerous about any New World Order, Star
Trekie,
no nation-state or tribes world. We haven't even been able to sit down as a
community,
as a country, in our schools, and between nations and discuss morality and
values. So
if we can't talk about them and even whole-heartedly consider them in our
actions, then it's
same old SOM non-value, non-moral vacuum world. Nothing will really change
except the
bigger stick, more power and control.

Thank you for responding Woods, but maybe I haven't made myself clear Had
you seen my response to Platt?
I'm not suggesting this to happen overnight..I'm not even suggesting that
this scenario *should* happen. What I am suggesting is that the MoQ provides
us with a "rational" basis to argue for an improvement of the world we live
in based on quality ( and not the size of our bank accounts). i.e. openness
to respond to DQ when- and wherever needed. I am not making myself any
illusions..I have been "around" for awhile.
This will take a long time and education will play an important role in this
process. So long as we recognise the need for discussion, call it
"diplomacy" there is hope. At least 15 generations I said

"And if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao, you ain't gonna make it
with anyone anyhow"
