Ham:
By the way, I agree that Ron Paul is a "true conservative", and would have
voted for him had I thought he had the support needed to win. As it turns
out, John McCain is the candidate of choice for conservatives, and I dread
to think what will happen to America under the leadership of Barack Hussein
Obama.

woods:
Thanks Ham for the tax info. I'm not for Obama at all. I don't think
McCain is a conservative at all. I think conservative's have been left
out in the cold with no canditate. I think he'll just keep on supporting the
same programs and even add more gov't. He signed onto the bailout
plan and is talking about bailing out all the home mortgages, too (which isn't
even the biggest problem, it's the 40-60, sometimes I hear 90 trillion dollars
that investment firms invested in with these defaulting houses. What I
do like about Obama is his level-headedness and he doesn't come off
as somebody that would be as aggressive as Bush, but you never know
these days. Obama could turn out to be out to prove that he's just as
tough and willing to support a shadow gov't. I think anybody that goes
into office will be pressed hard to support the interests of secret that
have been embedded in the U.S. white house and its' links. What I
do like about McCain is he does come off as somebody truly sincere at times.
I just don't think he has the energy or consistent thinking to stay unwavering.
 I
can definitely see he's easy influenced. He follows his advisors mostly. I
know he
had fired his advisers at one point during his campaign, but he picks another
lot of them and
thinks they know best too much without sticking to his guts. I wouldn't want
to vote
for a candidates advisers. I would want to vote for the candidate. I think
that's why
he jumps around and seems to be doing anything he can to win at this time.
He's being
heavily advised as to what will do him best and so he's bouncing around all
over the place
experimenting. I don't think he has any north star, guiding light issues to
keep him
focused on what he truly believes this country wants. So he's trying
everything. I'm voting
a 'no-vote' on the ballot sheet as of now. I guess I could research the other
candidates
further from the Green Party, Constitutional Party, Libertarian Party, and the
many
others, but it's tough to know how somebody is without having the opportunity
to see them in a debate or get a sense of who they are whether in person or
on TV more.

thanks

woods

P.S. Careful how far you insinuate hate for political reasons.
