It has seemed that once you are open to listen they will come to
speak. The deer, eagle, fox, hawk, turkey, otter, skunk, wren,
woodpecker, jays, raccoon, bees, chipmunk and field mice, and even a
bat, have come to speak. The clouds, wind, trees, thunder and
lightening, plants, rain, snow and sunshine have all come to
speak. This is a very intelligent place. Your little boy will learn
these things, and my grandson will too.

Yes, and why I wrote 'and grow the desire to listen'. You've helped
me do that because it does not come natural to me. Being in Nature
was not a pattern I grew up with. My husband taught me, and you have
too. I think the wild places have good and important counsel to give.
