yesterday was epiphany sunday and, fittingly, and with the aid of a few
mojitos, the day held true to its name.

my girlfriend has been on a head trip for the last few days - 2012, world war3,
illuminati etc. it can be scary cos you know a lot of it makes alot of sense.
watching israel invade palestine i am reminded of nostradamus and albert pike
and others who foretold ww3 as being triggered by just this event (pike even
gave the date - 2009).

but i am also, gratefully, reminded by my immortal soul-brother hank miller,
that nostradamus was a shit and albert pike was a freemason and that the world
has been in the thrall of the image-makers for thousands of years. by
image-makers i mean those that know that reality is a consensual dream and have
used this knowledge to hypnotise people into being their slaves: if people en
masse believe things are a certain way that is the way they will be.

but the intellectual level was the beginning of the end of the image-makers
because now the individual had a tool that could be used to pierce the veil...a
tool that had to be used well, that the individual had to learn to use deftly,
artfully.

much effort has been expended in keeping this tool blunt. most notably school
and uni. but books and art and music and conversation and nature are our allies
and what allies they are!

anyway time to get to the point:
the giant has a death wish. to the giant control is all and even the death of
the human world cannot shake him from this mission. he is very single-minded.
those in thrall of the giant - politicians, ceos etc - unconsciously or
consciously share this wish. they are plotting our downfall. it's the new world
order or nothing to them - eden doesn't resonate with them because it is based
on the premise of man's equality with man and nature as a whole. politicians
are of course not usually prone to humility. ceos are just plain sick, usually.

but armageddon resonates with many - especially weak-minded religious types.
end of the world scenarios are going to get a lot of airplay in order to
convince people that this logic is ineluctable - it is our destiny. and reality
is simply the product of collective manifestation - if we think it's gonna
happen - with enough coherence and clarity - it will happen. as ram dass says:
worrying is like praying for what you don't want to happen.

so it follows that if we can envisage a world we actually want - a world
without war, without power, without waste and misery and alienation - then we
can manifest it: if enough people cohere their clear visions of this world and
how it will come about. in other words if millions of people hold firm to their
vision of a coming golden age - arcadia, eden - and if their daily life is
targetted on this goal, then we can have this reality instead of the
armageddon. it depends on how we think collectively and how well we think - how
clearly, how carefully - and how well our actions and thoughts complement each
other.

if there is one simple differentiating factor it is nature. if we ally
ourselves with nature, if we see ourselves as integral to nature, then we are
tapping into a source of energy and intelligence that the death-eaters have no
parallel for. gaia is their greatest enemy and it is no coincidence that
forests are felled and fire-bombed here in australia with increasing urgency;
that our water is poisoned with chlorine and fluoride; that our food is
corrupted with poisons and chemical fertilisers and genetic modification; and
that our children are taught to fear the natural world as dirty, scary, or just
encouraged to ignore it altogether.

in the long run gaia will prevail; but it is the human toll that we are
determining right now with our actions. there are two poles of potentiality -
armageddon and eden, and which we actualise is up to us. this is what intellect
is about, this is what choice is about - this is the theme of our universe -
the one theme - choice. free will.

this is no time for semantics and navel-gazing; if we are to philosophise then
it must be philosophy in action, it must be more than words - it must be
mirrored by our actions and felt in our hearts.

by synchronising our actions, thoughts and desires we empower ourselves; if we
instead remain vague about what we want, work in a job that is mind-numbing and
ecologically destructive, and remain imprisoned by the habitual patterns of
mind then we are controlled by the giant and are throwing our weight behind his
kamikaze dive.

time to choose
