The lack of world leadership and decisive action in the current
Israeli offensive is dissapointing, depressing and scary. Though I
have to say I suspect Hamas knew exactly what they were doing when
they "engineered" Israel into action. Neither "side" is innocent.

But I think your sentiments are spot on gav. I'm not as "anarchic" as
you, but philosophy is about action and choosing to act and, whilst
hair-splitting definitional debate is largely SOMist breath wasted,
conversation, as you say yourself, comes in positive on the balance
sheet. Human nature requires that we communicate shared narratives and
understanding - psychological feedback - so that we know where we
stand.
