To finish this part off then...just by chance I heard a TV commentator (old cricketer) the other day, describe what he did when confronted with a bowler who threw the ball at him at 150 kms/hr from 22yards away.He simply said: 'Well, you don't think!'...you don't have time to , you have to act'. Which is, I think, the point Mel was making.
