"Having a thesis" sounds like an intellectual theory, but if I may 
expand it into "having an explanation of experience" or a "mythology" 
or "metaphysics" I think it's impossible NOT to have one. 
Anthropologists find that all mankind, however "remote" or primitive, 
has an explanation of the origin and destiny of mankind (this may just 
be themselves)

Granted, if you will grant me the use of the MOQ. As said, the 
academical approach where a thesis is criticized and defended in a 
doctoral dispute can't be done with the MOQ because what it wants to 
overturn IS academy, or create a new one.   

But for all I know your thesis may be of a similar magnitude, we'll see.
