Intellect like all human action is biological. Brain is one of the organs involved. The relationship is causal but I'm not sure it assures anything, let alone survival, but works toward that goal. Please let me answer this next one. Please? Please? All social behaviour is based on approval or disapproval of the actor by the intended recipient. The approval or disapproval generates pleasure (biological (chemical) reward) in the actor depending on his/her personality type.
