Platt,
The concept of evolution is more useful than say creationism. It is useful
because
of it's observation that living organisms are a part of an ever changing dynamic
environment. It is useful in creating a more comfortable quality of life.

I guess Platt, in the long run, we may understand the workings of all aspects
of life and physics yet never know "why" because "why" is a question of meaning
and meaning is an individual endeavor.

My point is , should'nt we be applying what we have learned from Pirsig?
rather than getting caught up in these habitual games?

Hey Ron,

Darwinian evolution is likewise an intellectual conception about
biological processes. So what's your point?
