I've learned much from Pirsig and I apply what I've learned as often as I can, especially his belief that "What's good is freedom from domination by any static pattern, but that freedom doesn't have to be obtained by the destruction of the patterns themselves."(Lila, 24) and, "My personal feeling is that this is how further improvement of the world will be done, by individuals making Quality decisions and that's all."
