dmb says:I think that's a false dilemma. While I appreciate the distinction, it's also pretty obvious that yapping is part of life. You know, just like writing metaphysics and picking up bar ladies. Without thought and language we'd still be living in the trees, by tooth and claw. I mean, does it really make any sense to take an anti-intellectual road if the goal is wisdom? I think Ken Wilber was quite right to point out that a person without ego is not a saint, he's just psychotic. The trick is to have cognitive skills and a healthy ego without thinking that's all you are. Transcend AND include, to go beyond without destroying what came before. _________________________________________________________________ Rediscover HotmailĀ®: Now available on your iPhone or BlackBerry http://windowslive.com/RediscoverHotmail?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_HM_Rediscover_Mobile2_042009 Moq_Discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
