All: Efforts to divert attention away from Pirsig's explanation of free market superiority over socialism only indicate that some contributors here just can't handle the truth. Of course, if I was a left-winger I would try to kill the message, too. The MOQ view is just the opposite of what big government socialists believe.
Just in case there are some who still doubt that Pirsig endorses the free market, the following quote sets the record straight: "A free market is a Dynamic institution. That is the reason major capitalist economies of the world have done so much better since World War II that the major socialist economies."
