Hi Marsha, i wondered if you might respond that word animated. I realise there is no reason that Buddhists should not be animated - ideally they should always be - except when they are asleep of course. But a lot of meditators i have know - not necessarily Buddhists - were somber and slower moving creatures. Sue Blackmore was full of enthusiasm and very clear headed, but also i think she says she is not a Buddhist.
