KO,

I like "its practical alchemy by the moment"; it's a very intelligent description, and it seems important to mention pragmatic and experiential for those MOQ'ers who would like to be fully awake. I would like to have a 'right-on attitude' like the Dalai Lama's, even though I'm a bug.

Hi Marsha,

the practice of exercises like mindfulness, preparations, meditations, body
awareness, t'ai chi forms, chi gung etc are not the property of any religion
- they are simply beneficial things at our disposal if we have experience of
them and remember they are available. The Dalai Lama does appear to have a
right-on attitude you would expect from someone in his position - he is a
great ambassador for Buddhism. I think its more fundamental than either
philosophy or religion, its practical alchemy by the moment.
