Hi Andre 3 Jan.
Bodvar before: > Please give me hell on this point, I'm happy to be corrected. Will have > to think some more on this issue. (about logic's place in the MOQ FYI) Andre: > You gave the perfect pass so... . Are you going to tell me that the Law > of logical equations (such as 1+1=2) was just sitting there, before > everything...before the universe existed...minding its own > business...and was then 'found' by some caveman who, upon 'seeing' this > apparition, clubbed his neighbour to death, stole his wife (as it > didn't make any sense)...both had a bit of fun...and then there was a > little one...and our caveman started counting again...1+1=====3!!! > 'Shit',he exclaimed, thoroughly confused, 'it still don't make sense. > Guess I'm too young for this'. Wish you would not take completely off, but that's Andre The Flying Dutchman ;-) As is my wont when I see some small fact that questions my former conviction I don't ask it to shut up and go away. Regarding logic itself (whereof 1+1=2 is the most simple example) I suggested to Steve that it may be the inorganic level itself - it's "carbon" one may say - but I am not finished with thinking about this yet. The inputs from Ron and Steve haven't been of much help . Your caveman example is unclear to me, the "... just sitting there, before everything .." point is what bothers me too. The 1+1=3 character, must be a ancient Ron Kulpstone. You added an afterthought: > Final thoughts of our caveman Bodvar (life expectancy wasn't very high > in those days), after he had fathered 17 children of which 3 had > survived (and he still couldn't work it out); 'Those gods...they'll > pull anything'. Even more mysterious but I trust it means something to you.
