Ham, Mark, whoever you are
(Are you the same person posting as two? Why would anyone want to do that?)
Anyway, when you write "fixed as a constant of the universe", how do you think I
should interpret that other than something that is fixed throughout all time
like the speed of light. A fixed constant is something that is attainable, so if
you're more into pies than movies then let's of course take that as an example
if you can't even pretend to like something you don't for the sake of a thought
experiment.
Let's say aunt Gretchen comes up with a *really* tasty pie. Every time you
visit, you want a bite. But if you were forced to eat it at every meal, for
breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, would that be *good*?
I doubt it.
That's how Quality is. Once you attain it, and can get it whenever you want,
it's gone. Poff!
That's not constant to me. PI is constant, not Quality.
If you change "constant" into "constantly evolving", that sounds more like the
real deal to me. But that's not what you said in the post I objected to.
There's also that little remark about experience being relative to the subject
'I'. Care to elaborate on that?
