I think you're on to something here. A log which does not flame when lit is not "disharmonius with reality or nature", it might just be wet. A platypus is not "disharmonius with reality or nature", only with some biologist's taxonomy. Hugging or kissing the cheek rather than shaking hands, is not "disharmonius with reality or nature". But when you say it's raining on a clear sunny day, you are. I think this accords with Royce's view about error.
