I assume you haven't read the book? If that is the case how is it you can
make the claim that these examples are the "worst" adherents?

These are good because they are voluntary &  their members share

But isn't the key though, it some extent numbers over time? If the most
intellectual , moral way to live is some form of socialism and the Chinese
at 1.4 billion, nearly 20% of the world, already have adopted it and still
are promoting it, can't the case be made their brand is more successful now?
And will likely be more successful in the future? Isn't the pragmatic test
to some degree what works?

Particularly when the "good" examples you give are religious communities of
very small numbers and the MoQ is anti-theist?
