Mary:

I'll stick to discussing beans, then. ;)

Ron:
I grew up eating string beans, spent alot of time picking them,
picked them with my mother. we used to have long conversations working in the
garden. That night, when the baskets were full, we'd sit on the porch and
snap them into small bite sized lengths. We picked soy beans too and let my
mind wander as we labored in the sun, when my father came home from
the steel plant where he was a welder, he'd sip a beer and have the radio on
and help
us snap beans, some of the best times with my folks was over beans.
Beans....my favorite is bean soup, made with several kinds of beans,
because in tough times, mom would buy any beans that were the cheapest
at the dented can store, from black beans to lima, red to pinto to lentils.
It was those times, when she just threw leftovers in apot, "hunters stew"
usually deer meat and anything that could be rustled up that were the best
probably because we were hungry.
Being so tight with my parents and sister, I learned not to judge
people by their gender or race or social status, But I do judge them
by their genuiness and honosty.
