Horse and all, As with everything else similar to this, we have to do away with the notion that just because the other guy did it, we can and will do it too.
The impulse to respond in kind is too strong perhaps, but everything begins with you. If each of us do not exercise the restraint to attack each other personally, the negative patterns replicate with each post and there will be no end to the melee. I suppose we can begin by all agreeing that "because the other guy did it" is not a justification for ad hominen attacks and the like. Cut out the rot at the root.
