I get the impression that Harris is either ignorant of the MOQ or dismissive of 
it as well as panpsychism. In any case, it's obvious he is a dedicated SOMist 
and thus IMO has little that's new to offer -- or as Pirsig might say, "It's 
very easy to spend your whole life swishing old tea around in your cup thinking 
it's great stuff because you've never really tried anything new . . ."

Harris does say, like Pirsig, that science has values which may be news to 
some. But, outside of that, I found his premises and arguments old hat. 

Of course, that alone doesn't make him wrong. But, I was hoping for something 
more cutting edge.
