Hi Platt,

[Platt previously]
Anyway, it's fun to think about thinking, then to think about thinking about
thinking, then to think about thinking about thinking about thinking . . ad
infinitum -- illustrating that thinking alone (including critical thinking)
leads to a black hole of nonsense. Something else is needed. DQ fills the
bill

[Mark]
Only leads to a black hole if you want it to. According to Zeno, it is
impossible to reach a destination because half the distance must alway be
traveled. This doesn't mean that we cannot go out on a trip. Your concept
is somewhat limited in that sense. It also arises from the concept of
thinking being the sum total of subjectiveness, ala Descartes. All that
thinking about thinking is something that you are aware of, without thought.
Perhaps this is the connection with DQ. In that case, we revert back to
the Eastern Religions, and the true subjective, Atman, Brahman and such.

Cheers,
Mark
