Hello Andre

I think I'm not really very intelligent in any way, but I've always had this
inclination towards geometric thought.
One thing that appealed to me in, I think it was the Zen, was when Pirsig
wrote about the "intellectual realm" as a place you went to as a kind of
escapism. He then said that it wasn't common today, but I guess that for me
it always has been that way. As a child I wasn't really social - and
preferred to be in my own "worlds of thought" or "fantasy". Pondering that
sorts of problems was, to me, an escape of a kind from my everyday life.
And I know that my memory function was developed early too, which I guess
helped.
Anyway, four years olds are usually quite lively - playing a lot - not
really just sucking their thumbs :-)

I haven't really had the time to think more yet - and I was hoping for Mark
(118) to replay also. But thanks anyway, I would have taken my hat off too -
in return.

/A

Alexander to Andre:

That was just a practical example. It's meant to help illustrate the point,
rather than being the point. So you really don't have to follow that
thread,...

Andre:
I am relieved!(I mean it because, apparently I am way behind..see what you
said next:)

Alexander:
When I was four years old I remember pondering the infinity of the universe.

Andre:
Holy macaroni! At that age I was still sucking my thumb...I think, with a
hanky pressed to my nose which was at least 3 months old...well at least so
old it could stand up all by itself.

If I'd wear a hat I would take it off to you. But you have made me curious:
any results from your 'pondering' yet?(or is that what the posts are
about?). Wish I could follow....and you'd even simplified it!
