Given that Quality is a pre-intellectual event, a metaphysics thereof can only 
be a finger pointing to ... and nothing else. Any metaphysical construction of 
Quality can only approximate it by saying what it is not rather than what it 
is. It cannot be 'captured' or understood intellectually. We (only) have the 
static 'fingers' of value.

That is why it is important to keep DQ and sq separate, to not mix them up or 
confuse them.
