Hi David and All,

IMHO Pirsig accepted that pragmatism "unstiffens all our theories, limbers
them up and sets each to work" and DQ/SQ reality is the useful metaphysical
structure.

The fly in the ointment becomes what is my experience of indefinable
reality? A logical solution to that question is that DQ, indefinable
reality, is observable as individualized emotional experience preceding
definable common intellectual experience. Emotions are individualized and
indefinable DQ. The expression of individualized, emotional, indefinable
reality is through the use of the logical vehicles, analogy and metaphor.
Hello metaphysics!
