If I am absorbed in talking to myself, I will not re-cognize the taste of 
ginger, or the smell of earth after rain, or the feel of the breeze passing 
over my cheek, or the sound of birdsong, or the sight of dancing leaves.  These 
too are patterns to be re-cognized; patterns that are far more immediate than 
the abstracted chatter and patterns that say much more about our relationship 
to the world of value.   Remember your breath: I am breathing in, I am 
breathing out...
